Our Story
Why Kuro ?
The name Kuro (黒) means black, mystery, and the unknown — a nod to the journey of building something from nothing, finding light through the hustle, and creating in the face of uncertainty.
Founded by two brothers, Kuro is more than just bags — it’s a vision. We design with purpose and precision, crafting bags for those who create, hustle, and make an impact. We believe in organization without overcomplication — bags that move with you, not against you.

Jahangir is the heart behind Kuro’s brand — the guy making sure your experience is smooth, beautiful, and actually enjoyable. Whether it’s the way the brand feels, the content you see, or how we connect with you, he’s the one making sure Kuro isn’t just a product — it’s a movement. He believes in helping people break out of their shells, take on the world, and shine — and he’s spreading that message through thoughtful design, storytelling, and exceptional customer experiences. If you love Kuro, chances are, he had something to do with it.

Mo is the guy who makes sure the bag you carry isn’t just a bag — it’s built to last, designed with purpose, and actually makes sense. With an eye for product development and sourcing, he obsesses over materials, zippers, and details you probably wouldn’t think twice about — but he does (trust us). But Kuro is more than just backpacks to him. As it grows, he’s on a mission to help sick children get the support they need —because carrying something meaningful should go beyond what’s on your shoulders.
